The Importance of Addiction Treatment in Spokane

Substance use is a serious concern for our community in Spokane. Thousands of residents have been impacted by drugs and alcohol, whether struggling with addiction themselves or seeing it affect somebody they love.

Spokane was hit especially hard by the drug epidemic in recent years. Since 2019, the county has experienced a sharp rise in the number of overdoses and deaths, especially from opioids and fentanyl. In 2023, opioids and fentanyl were responsible for more than 80% of overdose deaths (source). But the truth is that with the right care, most people who’ve experienced a substance use disorder (SUD) do recover.

SUDs are not a moral failing; they are, in fact, a treatable disease. When someone is struggling with addiction, it can affect their mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being. It can make it hard to support yourself and create a stable, functional life. Choosing to seek help is admirable and brave, and the road to recovery isn’t one that you need to walk alone.

Spokane Drug Rehab at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery

Substance use treatment services can help you take back control of your life. While willpower and determination are important, it takes more than motivation to overcome addiction. With the support and guidance of qualified professionals, you can develop the tools and skills you need to overcome addiction and build a happier, healthier life.

At Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery, we seek to serve our community with compassionate, professional addiction treatment services. At our Spokane drug rehab center, we assess each individual’s needs and design a personalized program to help them meet their recovery goals.

We know that the experiences of addiction are different for everyone, so your recovery should be as well. With various therapies to support behavioral health, emotional and life skills development,  medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and aftercare planning, we help you lay the foundation for long-term success.

Our Levels of Care

We offer various treatment programs to provide the best care, no matter where you are on your recovery journey. At Rebuilt Treatment’s Spokane drug rehab center, we know that recovery is a process that takes time, effort, and accountability. Our team helps design a course of action to see that you get the support and attention you deserve. Treatment programs include:

This intensive program provides structure and support for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care while continuing to live at home or in a sober living facility. Five days a week, patients attend six hours of therapy sessions to support their recovery progress. The stability and routine of this level of care allow for an easier transition to outpatient treatment while reducing the risk of relapse.

As patients transition from PHP, this program ensures they receive ongoing attention and access to resources. Three hours of therapy are provided three to five days per week. It’s a flexible option for those who still need support but have secured employment and are in the process of creating a healthier routine.

This level of care is ideal for those who want to continue treatment while maintaining their daily lives. It includes one to two group therapy sessions weekly and bi-weekly individual sessions. Those transitioning from 24/7 residential treatment receive transitional help to find safe housing or sober living arrangements.

This is distinct from residential treatment programs. It is a safe and secure communal living space where individuals can maintain accountability and learn valuable life skills. They can continue attending therapy sessions and support groups while addressing any ongoing challenges they may face as they work towards long-term sobriety.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

When someone is struggling with addiction, there may be other mental and emotional factors in play. Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other disorders can occur alongside SUDs, making it hard to get the help you need. Dual diagnosis refers to the process of treating these co-occurring conditions together, helping you navigate the complexities of overlapping conditions.

In some cases, individuals are unaware of the underlying issues. Many turn to substance use as a way to manage the stress and symptoms of mental health disorders. Substance use, in turn, can exacerbate symptoms, making feelings of depression and anxiety more intense and creating a painful cycle. These can be complicated circumstances, but with specialized care, we can help you address the various factors influencing your condition and increase the likelihood of lasting recovery.

Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery: More Than Rehab

At Rebuilt Treatment, we believe in healing the whole person. That’s why our services extend beyond traditional rehab programs. Addiction affects both the mind and body, making it difficult to maintain stability and live a healthy, fulfilling life. Our programs are tailored to meet your individual needs through a variety of therapies, resources, and educational tools, providing comprehensive support and healing.

Patients receive counseling and therapy from licensed professionals who work to address their specific behavioral health challenges. We also provide psychoeducation so our clients can gain a deeper understanding of their mental health, their symptoms, and how it impacts their lives.

We know that substance use can take an immense toll on the body. For well-rounded healing, our addiction treatment services include acupuncture and dietary support from a licensed nutritionist.

Our commitment to your long-term success includes more than your personal health. We offer a safe and encouraging environment for our patients to develop valuable life skills, as well as employment and resume workshops.

Safe housing is a top priority for patients transitioning from treatment. We take care to ensure all of our clients have the resources they need to maintain sobriety with aftercare planning and access to community support.
