Levels of Care
We treat fentanyl addiction and other concerns through multiple levels of care. Commonly, clients start with our highest level of care and step down to a lower level of care once they’re ready, but this is not always the case. Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery is here to help you find the treatment path that works for you.
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery is our highest level of care. Clients in our PHP participate in group therapy four days per week, once-weekly individual therapy sessions, and other activities included in their personal treatment plan. Our PHP can act as an alternative to inpatient fentanyl rehab due to the immersive nature of the program, but it can also be a step down from an inpatient program for those who have already finished a higher level of care.
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery has a lower time commitment than PHP. Clients in IOP at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery participate in therapy for about three hours per day, three days per week. This provides flexibility for those who need to work or take college classes while in treatment (or who are ready to return to work or school).
The outpatient program at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery is our lowest level of care. Clients in our Spokane outpatient program participate in groups 1-2 days weekly alongside bi-weekly individual therapy sessions, helping them transition out of a higher level of care seamlessly and with ongoing support.
Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery provides sober living for men and referrals to sober living spaces for women. Sober living can support clients in their recovery in many ways, providing additional accountability, connection, and structure outside therapy sessions. Our sober living home in Spokane is in a convenient location near educational institutions, work opportunities, and everything else clients need for success.
How Does Fentanyl Affect the Body and Brain?
How does fentanyl affect the body and brain? There are both long and short-term effects associated with taking fentanyl. While some effects of fentanyl can be severe and lasting, many will dissipate when you stop using the drug.
- Short-term effects of fentanyl on the body and brain include but are not limited to: Constricted pupils, respiratory depression (slowed breathing), mood swings, euphoria, urinary retention, sedation, relaxation, confusion, nausea, or vomiting.
- Long-term effects of fentanyl on the body and brain include but are not limited to: Chronic constipation, addiction or dependence, organ damage, trouble feeling pleasure from anything except for the drug, brain changes, and differences in pain sensitivity.
You can experience an overdose, coma, or death at any point in time while using fentanyl. Similarly, legal, financial, and interpersonal problems often result from using fentanyl. Our team is here to help you overcome the effects fentanyl has had on your life.
