An Overview of Our Drug Rehab Center

Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery offers comprehensive addiction and mental health services to individuals in Bremerton and surrounding areas, combining clinical expertise with empathy and evidence-based practices. Amid ongoing substance use challenges in Kitsap County—driven largely by fentanyl—Rebuilt provides a supportive path toward healing and long-term recovery. Our programs include a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for intensive daytime care, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with flexible therapy and support services, and an Outpatient Program (OP) for those maintaining recovery with less frequent treatment. Each trauma-informed program is tailored to meet clients where they are, helping them build stability, resilience, and purpose.

Drug Use in Bremerton

Substance use and dependency are a challenge for any community. For the first time since 2019, opioid overdose deaths in Kitsap County declined, from a six-year high of 74 in 2023 to 58 in 2024. This number had been on the rise dramatically since 2019, when the county saw 22 fatal opioid overdoses. The increase in use over that time is mainly due to fentanyl, an opioid approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin.

While Kitsap County tends to fall below Washington state averages, the 2023 Community Health Needs Assessment from St. Michael Medical Center reminds us that half of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24. It also revealed that 14% of adults in Kitsap County participated in binge drinking in the last 30 days. Having a system and behavioral health programs that can support adults and youth in the long term is essential for every community.

Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery Programs near Bremerton

Our behavioral health services at Rebuilt Treatment and Recovery are designed to support both mental and physical healing through a combination of therapeutic approaches, educational tools, and compassionate support. We help clients develop coping skills, learn strategies to manage stress, and regain emotional stability. Our goal is long-term wellness, and by offering multiple levels of care and personalized treatment plans, we can meet each client where they are and guide them toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re seeking structured daily support or a more flexible outpatient option, we offer three distinct levels of care tailored to your needs. Every program at Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and built to help you move forward with purpose.

Our PHP provides comprehensive care for individuals with moderate to severe substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health issues. Clients participate in full-day treatment five days a week, with services that include individual and group therapy, psychiatric oversight, and practical skills for everyday life. This program offers structure and accountability without requiring overnight stays.

Designed for those who would benefit from ongoing clinical support while managing their daily responsibilities, our IOP features therapy groups several times per week, along with biweekly individual therapy. We offer case management and support services, including job assistance, transportation assistance, and referrals for sober living housing. This level of care bridges the gap between intensive treatment and complete independence.

Our OP is intended for individuals who are ready to maintain their recovery with less frequent treatment. Clients attend group therapy once or twice a week and meet with a therapist every other week. This program focuses on ongoing healing, relapse prevention, and strengthening support networks to promote sustainable recovery in daily life. Every client will have a personalized care plan (as they have throughout treatment) to keep them on the path to long-term recovery.

FAQs About Rebuilt Treatment & Recovery’s Bremerton Drug Rehab

We offer a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to support each client. Our services include individual therapy, group sessions, family counseling, and psychoeducation. Common, proven therapeutic approaches we use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These forms of therapy address the emotional, behavioral, and relational aspects of recovery and help clients develop practical skills to better manage intense emotions, build healthy coping strategies, and improve personal insight and communication.

Early intervention in behavioral health is critical because it helps address mental health or substance use concerns before they become more severe, complex, or disruptive. While mental illness can begin at any age, most cases start earlier in life. Identifying and treating these issues early can reduce long-term impacts on relationships, work, physical health, and overall quality of life. No matter where you or your loved one is in their journey, we recognize the importance of meeting individuals where they are and offering appropriate support at the right time.

Psychoeducation is a therapeutic approach that involves teaching individuals about mental health, substance use disorders, and the tools available to support recovery. This is important to both clients and their family members because it helps people understand the symptoms, causes, and treatments related to their diagnosis. Common psychoeducation topics could include:

  • Brain chemistry
  • Addiction cycles
  • Emotional regulation
  • Healthy communication
  • Trauma responses
  • Relapse prevention

By gaining knowledge about their condition, individuals can better recognize triggers, manage symptoms, and make informed decisions about their care. Psychoeducation builds confidence, empowers clients to take an active role in their recovery journey, and reduces stigma, defined as “negative attitudes, beliefs, and stereotypes people may hold towards those who experience mental health conditions.” Psychoeducation is usually delivered through group sessions and is an essential part of helping clients feel understood, supported, and capable of creating lasting change in their lives.

We understand that recovery doesn’t end when treatment does, so we prioritize aftercare planning and long-term support for every client. Throughout treatment, clients work with case managers and clinicians to develop a personalized recovery plan that includes relapse prevention strategies, coping tools, and support systems. As clients transition from higher levels of care like PHP or IOP to outpatient treatment, they continue receiving therapy and group support while gradually increasing independence. We also connect clients with community-based resources, sober living options, employment services, and peer support groups such as AA, NA, or SMART Recovery, which can be attended in person or virtually. Clients who can build strong support networks and stable routines are creating a foundation for sustained recovery. We’re committed to supporting every step of the way.
